I know everybody is practically on the edge of their seat waiting for more of my vacation pictures! 😉 Riiight. Well the wait is over! hehe. Here are some of the highlights of our two week summer trip to Germany and France. Most people said we were crazy taking our three kids (ages 3, 5 and 7) on such an ambitious trip while they are so young. No arguments here; we are crazy! But despite our reservations they actually did awesome! I guess they have inherited the travel bug from their parents. Sure there were meltdowns and tantrums along the way, but it’s not like those things don’t happen here. 🙂 So without further ado, here are the photos!
We stayed outside Ansbach, Germany with my BFF for a few days. This stunning sunflower field was behind her house! Of course I had to do a little photo session. 🙂
On our first full day in Germany we visited Playmobil Fun Park and it was AWESOME!
The next day we visited Legoland! My son is STILL raving about it. Touring downtown Ansbach… And getting to check out a Black Hawk on the army base!
We finished up our time in Germany in STUNNING Garmisch which is in the Alps. We made it to France! First stop, Colmar.
And last but not least, a week in Paris!
My hubby proposed here 11 years ago. Had to go back for a photo and an awesome dinner! These photos are of the Lovers Bridge. You and your love take a lock, attach it to the bridge, and throw the key in the Seine which is a sign of your eternal devotion. Hubby thought this was cheesy but I made him do it anyway and I think he actually kind of liked it afterall. This is our lock before we attached it.Au revoir, Europe! Thanks for the memories! 🙂
